Packs
Make every app your own.
What a pack is
A pack is a single file that changes the pictures, names and text inside EZ-Force's apps. Use one to make the apps look exactly the way you want them for your show, your venue or your audience.
A pack can change:
- Home-screen icons and the names under them
- App logos, headers and banners
- List items and their pictures — titles, subtitles and the other text on each item
- Articles — your own piece on any app's front page, with a list of up to 100 entries
- Publications — your own magazines, newspapers and books in Kiosk, with article pages, text pages and crossword pages
A pack changes only what it lists and leaves everything else as it is. If a pack includes something for an app you don't have yet, it's kept and appears once you do.
Installing a pack
Packs need the full EZ-Force unlock — all 27 apps.
- Open the pack file (it ends in
.ezforcepack) on your iPhone. Tap it in Files, AirDrop, Mail, Messages or a Safari download and choose EZ-Force from the share sheet. Or, inside the app, go to Settings → Packs → Import, export and remove → Import a pack and pick it from Files. - Check the summary. Before anything changes, EZ-Force shows the pack's name, who made it, its description, how many pictures, texts, articles and publications it sets, and which apps it changes.
- Tap Apply to use it, or Cancel to leave everything as it is. If the file has a problem, EZ-Force tells you in one plain sentence and changes nothing.
Removing a pack
Go to Settings → Packs → Import, export and remove, tap the pack under Applied packs, then Remove this pack and confirm. Every picture and text the pack set goes back exactly as it was before the pack, and the pack's articles and publications are removed.
Back up or move your setup
On the same Packs screen, Export my setup saves your own changes as a pack — a backup, or the easy way to move everything to a new iPhone. Open it there to apply it.
Members area
A members area with downloadable packs for EZ-Force owners is on its way.
